Wanderings & observations

around the corner, and

in a split

everything will change.

Wonder –

disappear into it.

This photo tells the story of a man about to disappear around the corner into a wilder place. More story-telling pictures are here, where every week photographers rise to a new challenge put on by The Daily Post at WordPress.

The photo was taken at Larabee State Park in Washington, about an hour north of Seattle.

  4. That’s a great photo and poem. There is an album out with Tina Dico, she called it “Where do you go to Disappear” always loved the title…

  5. Great composition… to my eye there was an initial illusion that the figure was coming towards the camera, and the title of ‘Disappear’ confused me. Got up on the left side of the bed perhaps I did…

  9. A very effective response to the challenge. I’m intrigued by the sculptural feel of the image – including the waves

  12. The words are so true and pure; take a path out of Seattle and you can find yourself in another world. Another fantasy. Well done.
